![]() Considering the emotion engine was only 300Mhz with 32Mb memory in the PS2, ya, you need something considerably faster to emulate effectively. PS3 has what? A million other games that the emulator DOESN'T work on. Only 4 months late, and I don't consider demos or bejewelled a PS3 emulator. Also I have a lower end, but recent, computer and it runs PCSX2 fine and there are only like a couple of games that don't work at this point. ![]() Though it can only run demos and a series of bejeweled clones, but it seems to be progressing rather quickly. There actually is a real working emulator for the PS3 out there named rpcs3. A PS3 emulator would take a better computer than what's currently available, also, it'll take years to come out with an emulator for it because of the complexity of it. ![]() The PS2 emulator, PCSX2 takes a pretty decent computer to run properly, and there are some games that still don't run on it, even with the newest bios.
